[/quote]originally it started off as a 1972 brockway/wlf engine in 2000 they still had a 1958 ih/alf 65' from montrose,pa x-endwell ny both trucks were sent to american fire services in dickson city,pa the chassis cab and pump was kept on the brockway the ladder and turntable was taken from the ih/alf the body and outriggers was taken off a 1966 alf ladder truck that came from waterbury,ct that was at milewski's auto parts in scranton,pa that was sent there from the now defunct renegade fire apparatus.

Don...Below is text when I posted this shot around August 13 in the Pennsylvania vintage thread. This was a shot that I was allowed to post from the trip. Some additional info for you here...Mark

The front half of this rig is a 1973 Brockway that was originally a pumper built by Ward LaFrance for the Covington Fire Co., in Daleville, PA. Later in life, it was mated to the back half of a 1958 IH VCO/American LaFrance 65'/750/200 that was originally in service in Endwell, NY, and then Montrose, PA. This was shot on August 12, 2009, outside the future Brockway Truck Museum, in Cortland, NY. Apologies for the background, but no one around, and impossible to have it moved for a better shot.

i stand corrected the back half did come from the x-montrose alf but however the compartments came from the x-waterbury,ct alf.

I thought this rig was scrapped, we lost track of it after Alsace Manor. does anyone have a shot of it in Wheatland? glad to see it wasnt. they didnt have it at Wallaceton last year when we were there. What happened to their 70CF ex-Clearfield?

Mike,

Wallaceton picked the Mack CF from Wheatland up in the fall of 2008. I have a shot of it at Wheatland. Only difference from now is that it said Wheatland on the side of it. The other CF Wallaceton had is sitting out back for sale.
