this was my truck for a few years it was in pretty rough shape when i got it for 100.00 dollars it served as engine 2 for many years what a beauty it was

The squad is a 1980 Ford C/Emergency One. We sold it off somewhere around 2003, it ended up in North Providence (RI?), where I think it went out of service for something catastrophic. I had the pleasure to run in this rig a few times before it left. It was oversprung in the rear and kicked the living %^%& out of anyone riding in the back end.



I have a picture somewhere of it in service in North Providence, I know someone else does from here, maybe Ed?



The engine is a 1991 Spartan/Alexis. It is one of a pair of twins, the other was sold to someone in Iowa. This engine is currently our reserve piece, and we are in the midst of ordering its replacement. Terribly underpowered.
