And I wrapped things up with a picture of the chapel that overlooks the lake. It was a great day to be outside....and it was really tough having to go to work later that afternoon!
How about some senic shots?

A foliage shot from the Gaspe Peninsula, Que. - not that far a drive from downeast Maine, and well worth the trip...
If you continue driving east to the end of the Gaspe Peninsula (highly recommend driving the loop clockwise, it is more scenic that way...) - you get to the town of Perce. The landmark there is Rocher Perce (Perce Rock).
While you're up in the Maritimes, why not check out Cape Bretton Island, N.S. - it's a bit longer drive from Maine (another day), but the Cabot Trail drive around the island is quite beautiful. This shot taken a little bit north of the fishing village of Cheticamp - a nice town to stay in; go for a whale watch with Cal while you're there! During the summer, trade stories with his first mate, Schofield - a retired Depty Chief from Mass. (Fort Devens & Westfield AFB).
here is a couple of shots i took when i was in Downeast Maine a couple weeks ago
Reversing Falls in Pembroke Maine to currents meet here as the tide is going out making for some interesting action in the water
Eastport Maine, found this little lady out in the open feeding in back of a church, and this was two days after bow season opened up in Maine, lucky for her i only had a camera...lol
I took this one a few days again on a nice evening. Didn't even have to leave the living room to do it!

#2, Nationwide Arena.
Dang, you're good! You get to Tacoma often? We should go shoot around, then maybe sip a few at the RAM, or the Harmon Brewery. To answer the question though, yes, it's Thea's Landing. I lay my head on Dock Street....
Got up at sunrise this AM to get some photos of critters and landscapes - I guess it was a little too cold for most of the critters. Although the "Mile Long" Corn lot in Clayton was well populated with Geese of the Great White North variety as is typical this time of year. This gaggle was coming in for a landing and breakfast left behind by the hurried farmers who chopped the field a few weeks ago.
