This truck was bought from Crouse VFD in Lincoln County,NC where it served as E82. Crouse replaced this one with a newer Spartan/Smeal.

The following morning was the SPAAMFAA muster at Spencer, NC. Micah, Benjy and I were joined by Andrew and Aaron. There was a handful of in-service apparatus joined by over 20 antiques. The event began with a small parade that ended in the parking lot of the Southern Railroad Museum. Here are a few of the rigs from the muster.

This apparatus is the only stainless steel bodied pumper ever built by Mack Trucks. It is now collector owned.

The last of the rigs from the muster is this collector-owned 1965 70th Anniversary Seagrave lettered for Engine 14 of the Centre Hanover FD. This one has been greatly modified from it's original appearance as Engine 3 in Revere, MA and a purist would probably cry if he saw it, but it is impressive nonetheless. The lighting package would put a Maryland rig to shame!

Engine 14 has a 1500 GPM pump and a 275 gallon tank.
