I got this from a friend who was there helping get these guys out of the rig. All I have to say is WOW that know one got killed.



Was told this was taken about 15 feet from the truck. Not sure if this is the form for this. All Pics where taken after ever one was removed.

You would have to think that the damage and injuries would have been worse if it was an aluminum cab. Just a thought.

The guy who took the pics told me the same thing. This is why they want steel cabs. Manufacturers who want to build trucks for them keep pushing alumium. They don't get it. This is what they want so build it.

Here's a pic taken a few minutes earlier as the USS New York passes under the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge. NYPD marine units lead the way, a shallow draft FDNY fireboat brings up the rear. Immediately behind the vessel is Battery Weed of Fort Wadsworth on Staten Island. That's where the last shot of the Revolution was fired at the departing Royal Navy as they sailed away.
