FLORIDA RIGS
They could have saved a few bucks on red paint if they'd just bought a few more stickers! But, I kinda like it. What do those words mean under the jumpseat window? Alex, I guess I need to add this one to my list of "must haves" for my next journey south.

Great shots!

Mark, it's Latin (Ut Vivant Alii) which means "So Others May Live."

Deerfield is rediculous with striping and graphics.....and the city constantly claims it has no money....

Well I am not sure what is worse, all the graphics or all the lights. I always say to each their own but come on.

Deerfield Beach Fire Rescue recently placed in service R102, a 2009 International/Wheeled Coach.

Although I'm not fan of the european style chevrons, she still stands sharp.

Apparently the chief looks at the lighting catalog and says "I'll have that"...."all of that"...."and toss in some of that Euro-Striping too"...

Big Lots had a sale on lighting, again.

I agree that euro has got to go. Way too much, what ever happened to gold lettering and a reflective stripe. When did Deerfield switch back to red from lime green?

Just hang in there. The Battenburg will no doubt win the approval of the mavens at NFPA as will rolled hose, just a matter of time. You young ones make note of that, you'll see it.

Battenburg has a time and a place (I think the green-and-lime police cars in the UK are pretty sharp) but I don't think that ambulance has quite got it.

On another note, does anyone have more information about this truck?

http://pafirefighter.net/Extreme/beast.asp

I've searched this site high and low for it, but came up with nothing. Is it really 4800gpm?

Thanks.

I have it listed as a 3500 GPM Pump.

Thanks Shoop. I thought 4800 was a little big for a truck like that.

Alex,

I got lucky yesterday... according to my source the PD's parking is full, therefor they've been using the parking lot next to Station-53/88 for the overflow of equipment, both TWR2 and E13 were there and almost perfectly posed in sunlight.

I plan to return today for better shots. Anything specific you'd like to see?

Not really, just excited! I'm waiting for Tampa to try the Velocity chassis...
