Some additional info. Dave, can you verify what happened to the mini-pumper ?

1963 Ford C-850/Boyer, full cab, 750/500, 534 CI gas motor, 5-speed manual transmission, cost $19,500, This was the first new piece ordered, received 2/29/64, sold to a fire company in Alabama in 1990 for $10,000.

1969 Ford C-950 Super Duty/Boyer, full cab, 750/1250 Repainted in late 1998, 534 CI gas motor, 5-speed

manual transmission, pump rebuilt in 1996, new drive shaft in 1997. Tried to sell in 2000, decided to keep it and had it repainted.

1971 International 1300/Pierce Mustang, mini-pumper, 250/250, 2.5 KW portable generator, V-8 gas, 4-speed manual transmission, 4x4 field piece. The pump was rebuilt in the summer of 1996. The pump was removed in 2005 and put on the Ford F550 chassis, the remaining placed up for sale on E-Bay. Sold to an individual in Middletown.

1984 Mack R685F/Pierce, full cab, 1000/3000, cabinet style tandem axle tanker, Mack diesel, 300HP, automatic, housed 5/10/86. Purchased through Domestic Fire Apparatus-Downingtown, repainted RW in 1999.

That is what I thought happened to the brush piece too, I can remember seeing the pictures of it sitting without the pump and everything. I was told it got remounted on a Dodge chassis...having said that I just called someone else up (someone in the know) and they told me that your story is correct and that the person who gave me the story about the Dodge is an idiot (his words not mine).

This served Freeport Borough originally. It was sold to Hilltop I believe when Freeport bought the Mack MR/New Lexington engine in the late 1990's.
