Crown Firecoaches
Not a great photo, but one of the old Santa Ana wide cabs at the auction site a couple years back. It has since been sold to a collector.

I had posted a more recent shot of this rig with its black of red scheme prior to being scrapped, after some useful years at the Rio Hondo Fire Academy in Southtern California. Here she is during a training exercise in her original scheme.

Don't think I posted this one either, if I did my apologies. Photo taken during the same training exercise as the photo above. Now collector owned, you can find it on YouTube with the owner taking her for a spin.

One of City of San Buenaventura's [City of Ventura, not Ventura Cnty]wide body Crown pumpers training with one of their Mack CF's.

I always liked this photo. Not sure if it was my father looking attempting an "artsy" type shot or taken just for kicks. Either way, a couple great old school rigs in one shot.

Matt, nice find! I've never seen this rig before. Is it a recent shot?

Known in a previous life as South Pasadena's Reserve Engine 781. It's a 1970 model. Unknown on the Crown #.
