The Falmouth tanker and Harwich rig, really got me thinking. How many other Robinson trucks are there out there? I would love to see them! I know they built crash rigs also. The Robinson Boiler Works made trucks in mostly the late 1940's through the 1950's on Second Street in Cambridge. Not to be confused with Robinson in St Louis, MO that also built fire trucks.

Great Barrington, Mass 1956 American LaFrance 85' mm 250.150 Ron Bogardus collection [/quote] This truck served in for a brief time in Hancock, MA after Great Barrington replaced it around 1986 and is presently part of the SPAAMFAA Collection, not sure what the status of it is though, it had some mechcanical problems in recent years and as with most antiques storage has been an issue. There are many photos of this truck at the GBFD station fight a variety of "block fires over the years".
