Dave,

After looking though my notes, I believe this Lance is the one that had a 1250-gallon tank. The other Lance form IL had the 1000-gallon tank, according to the chief when Andrew and I shot Cross Anchor.

Was this Chief a former State Trooper? He told us that they both had 1000 gallon tanks.

I don't remember if he mentioned being a former trooper or not. The guy we talked with (who introduced himself as the chief) said he was on Woodruff for many years and he got fed up with Woodruff so he went to Cross Anchor.

That's the same guy we talked to. He told us that the Lances had been refurbed, but just mentioned the name of the guy who did it, not the company name. I thought it was somebody local. I believe the Cambridge Lance originally had a 500 gallon tank, not sure about the one from Park Ridge.

E4903 01-03 originally delivered with 500 gallon tanks.

E4871 was delivered with a 750 gallon tank.
Mechanical engineers build weapons, whereas civil engineers build targets.

When the man at the door said," Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms", I, naturally assumed it was a delivery!

I don't know then Dave. I've got written down in my notes that one of the Lance engines was setup more as a pumper-tanker (1250gal) and the other was an engine (1000gal) by American Fire App. It might have been another member telling us the tank sizes or who knows.
