Did they get this new or buy it from another department? It looks like a truck from the McSherrystown area...

That is the old Conewago engine. I got a picture out and put it side by side with the one of the computer.

EMS 12,

Did you happen to shoot anything from Central City? My parents grew up there so I was able to frequent the station as a kid. They had a variety of rigs then including an all white rescue squad. That was many years ago, not sure what they have now.

Somewhere in these 47 pages are the Central City rigs. If you cannot find them let me know and I can re-post them.

Typical. When asking at a station about a old piece the reply usually goes something like this: "Oh yea, that engine was sold to a FD in West Virginia or maybe it was Georgia, and it definitly was a 1999, but could have been a 1992. And are you sure it was a International? I thought is was a Ford."

Haha, how true. I couldn't even guess how many times I've heard a story similar to that. What really gets me is you ask someone about their tank size on the truck and they will say 1250 when clearly its a much smaller 750-gallon or 500-gallon tank.

I HAD A GUY TELL ME ONE TIME THAT THE YEAR OF AN INTERNATIONAL WAS A 1990. THIS WAS IN THE LATE SUMMER OF 1988. THE 1989 MODELS WERE JUST COMING OUT. HE SWORE IT WAS AN EARLY 1990 MODEL.
