Dave, or anyone else who might know,

This Tanker was totaled correct? Did they replace this unit with anything yet or is there any plans to replace it? I seen that were given a used Mini-Pumper recently.

Sorry that I'm quoting myself, but I did some searching and found this, they are replacing the unit. I found their new Tanker at http://www.crimson-fire.com/delivery.aspx?id=26854

Pictures are posted there with the specs.

YES I GOT AN EMAIL FROM HUSTONTOWN FIRE DEPT. ABOUT TWO WEEKS AGO THAT THEY DID INDEED GET A MINI PUMPER DONATED BY A GENTLEMAN. IT WAS NOT IN SERVICE YET AT THE TIME. HE DIDN'T SAY WHERE IT CAME FROM. AS FOR THE TANKER, I AM NOT SURE OF THE STATUS OF THAT.

Per Hustontown's web site

On 21 April 2010, Michael Pintozzi donated a 1985 Chevrolet K30 4x4 with a Pierce custom-built Mini Pumper body a 400 gpm Waterous pump to the Hustontown Area Volunteer Fire Company This company will use this unit to provide Fire, EMS and Rescue services to the surrounding area.

On behalf of the Fire Department we would like to Thank You both for your kind donation of the 1985 Pierce Mini Pumper.
