Cliffside has 2 stations but I was only able to get station 1 due to time. Station 1 also runs a huge Duce and Half brush truck, but it was dead and couldn't be moved for photos.

This unit is PRE 1992......... It would have to be between 1986-1991

Went to Pleasant Gardens FD (P&G) in Mcdowell County on Sat. They were having their 50th anniversary. Here is a few shots of their fleet.

Final one for now. Found this at a road construction site on one of the back mountain roads. I pulled off out of the way to get a shot. Told the flagman what I was going to do. Although I dont think He understood the language. So I start to take a couple of shots, when this other construction guy drove up. Asked what I was doing. Told him I take pics of Fire trucks, old and new. He stated that it is NOT a fire truck any more. they use it for hauling water (Gee, I thought that what fire trucks did). I needed to move on. I think to spite me he got in the truck and started it up and moved it down the road. while leaving his truck he drove up in running. Ive had cops give me an attitude before, but not like this guys. But thats ok , I was done anyway. So here it is

Where did you find that old Green Valley truck Gary? I've heard people say they've seen it as far as Brevard, NC. Looks like I'm not the only one who's had trouble with people giving me attitudes for shooting relics lately! I got a 20 minute lecture & cussing for letting a buddy of mine shoot a truck I'd shot years ago, haha. Here's an in-service shot of the truck as "Engine 5202."
