Nesconset, NY
Is that rig from Nesconset NY still in service?

South Brownsville, PA one of the most interesting places I have ever been to.
Why is that?
nothing to do with the firehouse or the fire company. just the town. went off Rt.40 down to the firehouse down the main street in town. nothing. no people. no open businesses. nothing. and all the buildings were intact, banks, stores.... its like everyone left one day and that was it. just like an urban ghost town.
Anyone know the status of the Ono/Lanconia CF?
Kill 'em all, let Allah sort 'em out. NEVER forget 9/11/01 WTC, Pentagon, Pa. Avenge the acts with NO mercy.
Thanks to ALL the Brothers who were there 9/11/01 and afterwards. Words can never say what appreciation we have for you all.

But it did still look good. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Thanks for the heads up. Stay safe, Brothers.
Not all former FDNY rigs were beat, I was a member of a Dept that purchased one of the '81 La France's, it'd done it's time on the City Island station an had very little pump time. It ended up being a very strong running engine with very little issues.
There was a abbey in upstate that bought one rig that I thought was just used for funerals... It had to have low miles and no pump time. I think that was an 80's La France too

The only MARC in 46 ENGINE!
Laconia needed a replacement truck like yesterday when they got the former FDNY Mack, and rather than allow the Fd enough money to buy a new truck like a demo the city mismanager at the time directed the Chief to buy a used truck. The Mack "sounded" like a good deal at the time they bought it, but once it was in the city, the truth came out. Like ShoreFire said, not all former FDNY rigs are beat to hell, but like anything it's a crap-shoot when you cut corners and buy used. There are several former FDNY Mack Aerialscopes and a couple of Seagrave ladders still in service in the Granite State, and I think at least one or two pumps in the area as well

does anybody know the MT number for the Phillipsburg tower?
