Is this the piece that Gold Key Estates ran at one point that Dingmans Township got after the merger? I think I saw on thier website thier Hino was wrecked and is gone... I am hoping that it was sold to Lackawaxen Township who fixed it and it is still around. I never got to get pictures of it and would still love to have a chance.

Growing up around there, if I remember right it really wasn't a merger. Gold Key Lake Fire dept. went through several name changes since 1990 until becoming Dingman Township Fire Dept. and the station moved to its current location. I do believe that the former tanker was a 1987 Hino chassis and 2000 gallon tank but did look very much similar. Also the drop tank was stored on the passenger side of the truck. The Hino after wrecked was replaced by a KME/International demo tanker

The Hino was a 1985 and it suffered front end damage . They were going to fix it , but felt since it was approaching it's retirement age they would replace it . The demo was available for quick delivery so they did not need to be without a tanker . These are photos of the Hino outside the station after the accident . It was too difficult to get a front end shot .

I may have missed it, but has anyone got a picture of Tower Hills (Fayette County Pa) new Engine that replaced the CF? I believe they received a grant for the new pumper.

Friday July 17 is the parade day, I don't have anything else. Those pictures might have been from a Memorial Day parade(?)
