Does anyone know if this was bought new by Kinloch or used since she sure looks like she may have been from OWL in P-willy County, VA originally. Awesome shots as usual! Keep up the great work.

Quite a well-traveled (and built) piece to be in service all these years. Is it still in service somewhere or has it finally been retired?

Arnold Fire #1

1970 Oshkosh / Snorkel ?? My memory is bad with the year

Westmoreland County Station 95-1

This unit is being replaced through a AFG grant
Bought in 1970 for a little over $78,000. Built on an Oshkosh chassis by Pierce. The boom is 75', a 1,000 gpm Waterous two stage pump. Originally had a standard transmission, but was replaced by an Allison automatic by Glick approximately 7 years ago. This truck fought many fires in Arnold, New Kensintgon, Lower Burrell and Tarentum. Currently out of service in a warehouse.

where did pioneer truck (snorkel) come from???? & also where did the frazer truck 160 come from
As Shoop stated, the Pioneer snorkle came from Florida about 8-9 years ago. It was originally yellow when they bought it. As for the Frazer Sutphen tower, it came from Ohio. There is a shop near the Sutphen facility where it was refurbed. The fellow is a retired Sutphen employee. The truck is a 1982 and was completely gone over before Frazer bought it.
