Located near Fort Lee and the Geo Washington Bridge is Palisades Park. Former home of the Amusement Park of the same name. I guess if you need a band to respond lights and siren Pal Park is the department to call.

Somewhat unique to Bergen County are seperate rescue companies. I.E., a town will have a PD, FD, EMS and an independent rescue squad.l In additional to Fair Lawn picture below Paramus, Saddle River Vally, Ridgefield Park, and Ramsey operate in this fashion.

KME bought the cabs from Maxim. These are KME rigs with that very noticable cab.

KME bought a few cab designs to get started... HENDRICKSON and MAXIM were the 2 Main ones I know of....

KME also bought the Mack fire body templates as well after Mack ceased building fire equipment.

And I thought that the concept of FD bands was difficult to comprehend, now I see they have their own lights and sirens vehicle too.

Guess this is better than the FD renting a band?

And yes, I'll admit I've never been to a FD parade with a band in it.

OK, I disgress, back to the FD vehicle photos.
