1985 Hahn 92, canopy cab, 1500/750, model HCP-15, delivered 1/24/85. This was the first canopy cab ordered by the company. Housed 10/5/85. A paint problem developed in 1993 were the paint started chipping off the cab. It was sent to Swab on 5/6/96 for a complete rehab which included the following: new paint job, a 7.5 KW Onan generator installed in a enlarged compartment in the rear with a roll-up door, upgraded emergency lighting, enlarged hose bed to accommodate 2000 ft of 5 inch supply line, and a trash line in the front bumper of forestry line at a total cost of $50,000. It went back into service the first week of January, 1997. On 11/20/04 while responding on a mutual aide call with East Brandywine, the rear tires left the roadway on Rt. 282 and struck a rock, bending the rear axle, placing it OOS. Placed back into service on 12/31/04. It was replaced and sold on 6/26/06 to the Tidioute VFC (Warren County) for $25,000.
Many thanks,
Bruce
