Also in the White Pine station was a 1970 Ford C/John Bean 750/500 S/N # 21-70 that was running as "Engine 2." Unfortunately, it was out of service for transmission problems and couldn't be moved. One of the members went to White Pine's substation/sister department and got this truck so we could take a pic of it. Baneberry VFD is basically White Pine VFD Station 2, but they are a seperate entity, formed by the Baneberry golfing community on the outskirts of White Pine. Baneberry built the station and bought this engine, but White Pine supplies the firefighters to operate the station. Strange situation. Still not sure I totally understood what the Chief was telling Micah and I.
