Lebanon Bureau of Fire
Hook & Ladder Fire Co
Micheal Leonard Photo
1940 ALF Jox 85' mml
Quite a story being this rig. This photo is of it after restoration at Mill Creek Del.
In 1960 this ladder fell while operating at the San Georgio Macaroni Company fire. Between the damage done to the aerial from the heat of the fire while it rested on the brick wall
and what the wrecker company did to it while trying to upright the rig, it was considered destroyed. ALF took it as a trade in the replacement ALF they purchased. In approximately 1993, while My friend Mike and I where at teh Maryland State Convention in Ocean City, we saw this rig sitting, and he begin to tell me how this looked just like the old JOX they had, he had only seen some photos of it. We begin talking to the gentleman who was with the rig, and he gave us a similar description to it's fate, and said that their fire company was in need of a CHEAP ladder just a year or 2 after this fire. ALF Offered to fix up the old JOX for them so they would have a ladder truck. The rest is history.
1961 ALF/1982 ALF Century 100' mml The refurb included a new cab and detroit diesel.
Sold to the "Rexmont Fire Co"
1981 Seagrave Rear Admiral/1994 Tyler 100' rml X-FDNY L-61, this rig kept the "phone booth" seat on it, which I rode a few times.
1968 Chevrolet Step Van/Boyertown
X-Liberty FC, Lebanon, Sold privately
