1952 American LaFrance 700 Series Engine
Former Springfield Fire Department
Springfield, Illinois
Former Kurtz Fire Department
Kurtz, Indiana
Model "J" V-12 Gasoline Engine (Re-powered with a Cummins 555)
4-speed Manual Transmission
1000 G.P.M. Pump
Model No. 710-PJO — Bob, help!
Registered No. L-4643
We did write down the Reg. No. correctly when we saw it a couple of weeks ago. I thought we had messed up since that Reg. No. matched up to an open cab. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='

Anyway.
Could be one of two things ...
1 - Most likely a typo in my list (sorry ... it happens), or
2 - Cab was replaced after a wreck.
Without knowing more history of this rig, I'd go with reason No.1.
