[quote name='RichRoadB' post='39676' date='Oct 3 2006, 22:14 ']I found this old 700 series sitting in a field in Sierra Vista Az. last summer, within a few blocks of the Fire Spire I have posted in the Derelicts thread. I dont have any information on this truck, and I dont know any of the history.

There are two pictures of this truck in a book by T.A. Jacobs titled The Fire Engine. The pictures are on pages 48 and 49 if anyone else has this book. The caption says that it is a 1948 and at the time of print was being maintained by the Goose Flats Fire Co. in Tombstone. Doesn't explain Why it Has M.F.D. on the cab though.
