I made the comment about the siren being an electronic Q because someone thought it was a mechanical Q.
Some of us are passionate about the Q siren. It's what makes a firetruck sound good! Yeah, I know that a siren doesn't put a fire out or rescue someone from a burning building, but a mechanical Q means a lot to some of us. Not to judge some of the local volunteer fire departments where a mechanical Q may not be on the apparatus due to budget restraints, but maybe that's why someone doesn't understand the meaning behind why some of us think highly of the mechanical Federal Q2B siren.
I'm not judging the new StLFD pumpers by their siren, if you read my post carefully.
