Was this original to Clayton or perhaps from Arlington County VA?

Not unless the two Arlington County rigs were different from each other.  The one I shot is different than this one at Clayton.  It had barrier doors and the compartment behind the rear cab door was much smaller.  Less of the rear cab doors went over the wheel well.

 

 

Pretty sure this is X: Morrisville, NC Rescue 1.

I can neither confirm nor deny.  The Rescue 1 I photographed at Morrisville was a 1989 Simon-Duplex/Saulsbury, but it had only a short 2-door tilt cab without a crew area.
