Umpachene (Ump PA cheeny) Falls Town Park in New Marlborough, MA is only about 6-7 miles from Campbell's Falls and is supposed to be for residents only, but there are often NY, CT, VA, ect.. plated vehicles in the lot. This gent from CT was teasing the trout (stocked) in the Konapot River up stream from the falls. Chief's Konkapot and Umpachene were both chiefs of the Stockbridge Tribe that was eventually moved out west. Descendants still occasionally show looking for the old burying grounds ect...
This was May 25th - a gal was actually swimming just down stream - she was kinda cute, should have grabbed a shot of her, but I don't think her large heavily tattooed male companion would have approved.
The falls themselves back in April.
Of course the park has its own fan site on Facebook!
