Quote:Boonsboro ET63 was wrecked this past winter. The Engine Tanker was responding to a call during one of our snow storms and slid off the road causing it to be totaled by the insurance company.
Boonsboro currently has a 2014 Mack Granite Pierce Dry Side Tanker 1500 GPM 3500 GWT on order for the main station while the sub station has a 2014 Pierce Arrow XT 1500 GPM 1500 GWT Engine Tanker on order.
The plan is to move Engine 8-1 back to the main station to be reassigned as Engine 6-2 again.. Engine 6-2 will be a fully functional " reserve " but will respond to the " junk " calls ( ex. wires down, medical ) to help keep the miles off of Rescue Engine 6-1.
The new tanker will sport the new color scheme for the company of Black over red unknown if the Engine Tanker will be the same or not but I would say so.
