More than likely yes. Apparently the powers that be at Liberty are always looking for a deal rather than spend the money on quality equipment. As an example, my driver said squad 3 from Greensboro was picked up dirt cheap because the frame was severely warped from a previous wreck. Liberty sunk more money into it to have a local fabricator fix the problem but he was saying the truck still drove horrible & wasn't very safe. The previous squad at Liberty was also from Greensboro and again was not what they needed but found cheap at a city surplus auction. This squad was a GMC 7000/E1 midi-pumper, had very little compartment space & was very top-heavy which were the reasons Greensboro wanted to get rid of the truck.
