The travel height of E57 is 12'-1". In comparison most rearmount platforms are under 12' in height. The reason the height on E57 is higher than normal is that Baltimore County wanted to stay with the 10" raised roof as found on the new pumpers. Had they elected to go with a flat roof or notched raised roof, we'd be looking at a much different scenario.
