Yes, Monessen had a 700 series ALF. It now has a Detroit Deisel in it. I have a picture of it. It is owned by someone in W.V. I dont think it is Harold Berthy though, Our department had a 1933, a 1935 and a 1937. All 3 were fabricated at the Alcoa plant in the city. We still have the 35 at No.1. In fact, it led the Western convention parade in August having our oldest active member riding on it as a co-parade marshall.

Monessen, PA.; 1948 ALF 700 1000/300
Restored by Mr. Don Baker(3rd private owner) over 3 years(completed 2003)
I believe it is now owned by Ron Siarnicki of the NFFF and a former Monessen resident and vol.ff.
Shot by me at Newark,Del. parade 8/2009
I wish we could have seen Monessen's antique fleet when shooting there in 7/2007, but what we got wasn't bad!
