Now this thing is a unique looking piece of apparatus, looking at it I would swear it was the ladder truck that Cedarburg, Wi had... they even had the same door markings (but with a C instead of an S) but according to thier website they had it enclosed and it was not sold to Sharpsburg... either way this thing is a beast. It appears to have one of the dutch made Geesink ladder's on it, Milwaukee had an FWD/Geesink ladder truck also but it was a cab forward FWD. I have included a very small picture from Cedarburg's website of thier FWD/Geesink... I think everyone will agree the resemblence is striking!!

The Cedarburg rig was a 1957 delivery, the one at Sharpsburg was a 1960 delivery. The bodies have different compartment layouts. The outriggers are exposed on the Cedarburg rig.
