Thank you all for the wonderful advice. I am excited and proud to start on April 7th. I talked to my Chief today and he informed me that I will be on "A" shift. Chief Reeves I will definitely keep a personal call log of my day and look forward to reading it in 10 or 20 years, I would have never thought of that. I am also going to print out the 25 rules for probationary Firefighters.
I will keep everyone informed on how probation is progressing and I am looking forward to being a productive member of the Fire Service.
