This Pierce is privately owned and was returned to the Sterling graphics in 2013.

 

Sterling Volunteer Fire purchased a 1984 and 1985 Pierce Arrow.  After service in Sterling, both were donated to the Loudoun County Training Center in Leesburg and then ultimately sold when the county purchased two new Pierce engines assigned to the Training Center.

 

This is a 1985 Pierce Arrow that was rehabbed in 1989 by Pierce to include a four door enclosure.  It returned back to Pierce in 2000 for accident damage repair.  Job number E2746.

 

It originally started as Sterling Wagon 11.  It then became Training Engine 98 at the Loudoun County Training Center.  It was sold to a dealer in Virginia where it was used as loaner engine until purchased privately.  In 2013, it was re-lettered back to Sterling Fire.
