[/quote]More than likely FDNY and/or Wheeled Coach made a bulk purchase of chassis and are still building bodies for them. It's possible that they did this due to the recent changes in the EPA emissions requirements and bought up as many of the "older engines" as they could? Wouldn't be the first time somebody did something like that.
