Got an invite from a friend to shoot the 190th Kansas Air National Guard Refueling Wing Fire Department at Forbes Field Topeka. Forbes Field is a retired USAF Base and is now used by the Kansas Air National Guard. The fire apparatus are provided by the US Air Force and they are staffed with seven to nine firemen each day. They work a 48-96 shift rotation. A neat aspect of the air field is it is divided between the air national guard and public. MTAA Metropolitan Topeka Airport Authority Public Safety provides Fire,EMS,Police for the public side and reside in a separate public safety house. The full set can be seen on Kansasfiretrucks.com. Enjoy!!!
