Yes I took a photo of North Shore WI pumper at the Pierce Factory in 2010 of that exact hose bed. It was fantastic. The Fire Shop really likes the PUC for repairs, the committee really wanted standard style engines. It was a compromise and has worked decent. The guys would like to see the overall body height lower. With the last four engines purchased the two typhoons and two puc's they only carry electric fans and a hydraulic generator with cord reel. This was always a standard for OFD pumpers for as long as I can remember. They have removed jaws, saws, and gas fans that appeared the late 1990's and returned them to the Quints, Truck, and Rescue. It is fantastic having basic pumpers again.
