The next fire dept was an interesting place to go to. St. Charles reminded me of a very poor, mountainous coal town that you might find in West Virginia, lots of small 1920s era houses worth at most $40-45,000. We were told this was not an area you wanted to be in at night because it was a rough area so we shot the trucks that were outside and left as quickly as we came. At any rate, here is St. Charles' station, only a 3 bay station with the rest of the equipment sitting outside in the elements.
