Just down the road from the Town of Farmville, located near the intersection of US 15 and VA 133 is the Hampden-Sydney College. H-SC is well-to-do male college, where the students enjoy going to into Farmville at night to find the females at the co-ed Longwood University. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='

Located on the grounds of H-SC is the Hampden-Sydney Volunteer Fire Department, a department that is made up mostly of college kids. Over the past five years, they've made remarkable upgrades to thier fleet, including this newly delivered Smeal Sirius. It replaces a Ford C/Pierce which H-SVFD purchased from the Monelison VFD in Amherst County, VA only a few years ago.
The department also took delivery of a Smeal Sirius 75' RM aerial last year.
