Over on the other end of Winchester, a unique new monster medic is in service at Winchester's Friendship Fire Company.
This is a 2006 International 4300/Horton. Note the LED Roto-Ray located on the front of the box.
Friendship continues to experiment with different colors. The more recent apparatus have been orange and white, which was a change from red and white. Now, they have added the orange and black with this new ambulance. I was told that they expect future apparatus ordered to arrive in the orange and black colors but not to expect any existing apparatus to be repainted.
Stay tuned for some interesting (at least in my mind) posts of fire apparatus from the deep Southwest part of Virginia. I hope to post those shortly.
