Just curious, but what are the 6 floors used for? Any FDNY members that can answer this for me? I am wondering if maybe some admin use this house, or if there are also apartments there? Also, I have always wondered this, beings I am from the midwest and don't know much about this issue, but a lot of your houses are 3 story or more. Can any FDNY member or anyone who knows tell me what is beyond the 2nd floor. I am going to at least assume the sleeping and living quarters are on the second floor as in most multi story firehouses, and I am wrong, please correct me, and if I am correct, again, what is the 3rd (or more) floors used for. Thanks and stay safe.
