Additional info on the Media rig:
1929 Seagrave, open cab, 750/80, reg. no. 59925, painted 12/11/29, booster hose round basket on top, $9,000, originally had a chemical tank, purchased to replace the 1925 Seagrave demolished in the accident, ordered 9/29, single rear wheels. In 1972 it was restored as a parade piece and re-housed on 9/23/72.
Lampter info:
1992 Spartan Monarch/Darley, 4-door seven man cab, 1500/1000, delivered 4/92 at a cost of $189,000.[/quote]
Scott- Not to be pickey, but to avoid anyone being misled. Media's 1929 Seagrave was a full-size Standard not the smaller Suburbanite which did not have 750 gpm pumps.
Happy New Year
