New Kensington, PA Bureau of Fire

In 1949, the City of New Kensington purchased this L-Model Mack to replace the 31 year old American LaFrance.  Ths "49", as it is called has a 1,000 gpm Hale 2-stage pump and a 150 gwt.  It served as engine 3 until November of 1970.
