Quote:Engine 813 in nearby Cornelius is this 2001 HME 1871 with bodywork from Western States. It has a 1500 gpm intracab-pump and a 1000 gallon-tank. One of the last Western States apparatus built. This company was located in Cornelius.
Anyone know how in the world they get enough air to flow to keep this rig from over heating. I know older apparatus were designed to not have a grille but this chasis was not.
