Sparrows Point Engine 2 was a 1936 Mack Type 45E, 500gpm pump and 200 gal. tank. This served Bethlehem Steel, Sparrows Point from 1936 to 1971, being replaced by a 1974 Ford C8000/Oren.
In your next post #2124, this pumper never was in service at Sparrows Point. It was privately owned by John Westbrooke, who had it lettered for Sparrows Point Engine 3. I don't remember where it originally served before John purchased it. Sparrows Point did have a 1941 Mack 80L which was similar to what John owned.
