Here she is in all of her mutilfunctional glory. This unit was purchased to replace Haz-Mat 4 and Quint 4. It is a Pierce PUC walk around heavy rescue.

Special Note: This unit does NOT have an on board Class B foam system, roof, or bumper turret for AFFF foam application. It however does have a Class A/ CAFS system.

Rear hose bed door open. Note the door is NOT notched to allow LDH to be hung lower. From ground to hose bed bottom is 8ft and 6ft standing on tail board.









Lawrence FIre Department now operates two engines, three 75ft quints, one 100ft tower-quint, one heavy rescue, six ambulances, and one shift commander from five fire houses and one standalone ambulance station. There will soon be one more 100ft tower-quint and one 75ft quint ordered.
