Back in the late 90's the regional chief (Assistant Commissioner) ordered three command rescue appliances for the regional centres Gold Coast, Ipswich and Beenleigh. The appliances fill the dual roles of a heavy rescue and command. The two International Accos have a full command pod at the rear.
Then there this. It fills the same description but on an Isuzu 4x4 chassis. Yes it drops at the rear to access the command suite and some of the tools in the rear.
