Based on that map, the large black area is the Cities of Atlanta, East Point, College Park and Hapeville. The black area in the northern part is the Cities of Roswell and Alpharetta. The little black area in the southern part is the City of Union City.
In the northern section, the areas marked 2, 4, 6, and 22 are now the City of Sandy Springs. Those marked 10. 14, and 18 are now the City of Milton. 8, 12, and 20 will soon become the City of John's Creek. Once John's Creek goes in service, there will be no unincorporated areas of Fulton County in the northern section.
On the southside, once the annexations by Atlanta, Union City, Fairburn, College Park, East Point, and Palmetto are complete, and the Cities of South Fulton and Chattahoochee Hills Country incorporate and put their FD's in place, Fulton County Fire will disappear.
