The Academy this & the Academy that....NFPA this & OSHA that...HOW about the fact that that 35year jake is on a inch&3/4 line ALONE! WHY because THAT CHIEF allows it! IS THAT NFPA COMPLIANT! DOES THE ACADEMY say thats OK!?! How many times were ya on an attack line by yourself in the academy?....I'll tell ya how many....NONE! The bottom line is most communities cant afford 100% compliance, so most chiefs cant provide 100% compliance! SO DONT EXPECT 100% COMPLIANCE FROM THE HARD WORKIN JAKE ON THE END OF THE LINE!!!!!!!!!!! Well, this thread could go on forevah....I HOPE IT DOES NOT! There's my nickle worth....Fraternally,
