I don't think that the ALF quality would be a problem....since there's hardly anyplace to get official dealer service anymore, and try ordering replacement parts! LOL.
They had a really good business going for quite a while there, and at times were building very decent rigs and had some large contracts.
This seems to be the fate of many manufacturers of fire apparatus, but they didn't let ALF just die, they had to take all the quality and legacy with it.
