Lancaster Township Fire Department, PA (Lancaster County)
Squad 66-5
Squad 66-5 was an International/Pierce Midi-Pumper that was in service for a month in February of 2010. Due to several days of heavy snow, this unit was placed in service for its all-wheel-drive capabilities. It ran several calls including a working house fire in Highville, PA. Again, Command Fire Apparatus made this possible for us. I was lucky enough to the be the OIC of this unit to the fire. We were able to plow through several feet of snow with ease. I wish we would have kept this unit.
We had to get a picture of the rig indoors because of the blizzard conditions outside at the time.
