That's a 1949 85 foot Seagrave tiller that was rebuilt around 1973 or 1974 with a 1973 IHC tractor. It was in service until the early 1980s.

 

At the time the picture was taken, it was assigned as ladder 5 (former station 5 was on Dalhousie street) but the picture was taken in front of the former station 1. At that time, the ladder at station 1 was a 1973 IHC / Thibault 100 foot tiller and the 1976 Kenworth / Thibault tiller was assigned to station 12.
